New Daisy Installs May 2022

It should come as no surprise that Aussies are ‘pool proud’ when it comes to their swimming pools. So when they choose Daisy for their pool cover and roller solutions, they expect a lot.

It’s a good thing then that our installers are up for a challenge. Here are a few of the latest projects coming out of NSW.

MAROOTA, NSW

Daryl had to get his feet wet for this one with a raised spa in a pool.

As you’d expect, cutting the pool cover around the raised spa took a little work. The customer also wanted the whole pool covered, so Daryl worked his magic to make it happen.

KURRAJONG NSW

This install comes with a BGB tip!

The 12m pool has a centre step. So you’ll notice how the step area is folded in to make the recovery of the pool cover easy.

However, to make the rolling and storage easy in the BGB, the step is unfolded so it sits flat on the BGB roller tube. Having the cover stored flat means the whole cover rolls up smoothly. If you roll with a fold it becomes lopsided on the roller, which then makes it harder to operate.

In a BGB this is not what you want, so it's always better to go for a larger BGB and have the step unfolded.

BLAKEHURST NSW

This one involved a pool and separate spa using 316ST + 525TB – and you know what? Sometimes it just looks right!

Great attention to detail has ensured a premium finish to a quality pool area. It just goes to show that when the basics are done well, a Daisy pool cover is an obvious solution for pretty much every backyard pool.

PYMBLE, NSW

You know it's WinterKleen time when the leaves are dropping on the cover while you’re doing the install.

Daryl said it was great to see the happy look on the customer’s face as the WinterKleen cover was already doing its job as the install was taking place.

The pool owner said the time they’ll save on keeping the pool clean during winter will change their life. It’s gone from being a near impossible winter task to no work at all. How can you not be happy with that?!
