Keeping Hard Pool Covers in Place with Overflow Guides
Above-Ground Hard Pool Cover with Overflow Guides, Hampton VIC
Daisy recently completed an installation at a Hampton, VIC indoor pool, replacing the existing Daisy Solar cover and roller system with a PVC White slat above ground hard pool cover and roller system with controller. The pool measures 15m x 3.6m.
To get the roller positioned perfectly, a custom post was fabricated and bolted to the pool step. But the real hero of the install was the Infinity Overflow Guides. These clever guides attach to the side of the cover where you want to stop it moving into another section, preventing drifting across lane dividers or over an infinity edge. In this case, drifting over the pool deck drain and onto the paved surrounds. They work by catching the inside edge of the pool but still allow a seamless look on top of the waterline. Not only do they hold the cover in place, but they still enable the cover to roll up neatly when retracted.
This Hampton project demonstrates how small additions like overflow guides can have a major impact on usability and pool protection. Whether it’s an indoor or outdoor pool, Infinity Overflow Guides ensure your hard pool cover stays exactly where it should be.
