Caddy Pro - NEW upgrades for improved performance!

Daisy’s portable drive system for commercial pools, Caddy Pro, has recently had an upgrade! 

The product has gone through several improvements to make it more user-friendly and reliable, providing a better experience for its users. 

One of the major changes in Caddy Pro is that the reversing solenoid has been replaced with an electronic drive card, which has improved the reliability and operation of Caddy Pro. The card also includes features such as soft start of the motor, operator motor speed control, and enhanced current limiting protection of the motor. The card provides room for future features like on/off LEDS, fault LED, stop button input, limit switches, and remote control. Additionally, the bolted front panel has been replaced with a hinged door that comes with a lock and key. This makes it easier for users to access the internal components of the product.

Another notable improvement in Caddy Pro is the replacement of the forward & reverse single lever switch selector with a drum rotation/direction rocker switch and a run push button. This makes the operation of the product more intuitive and user-friendly. The introduction of the motor speed control potentiometer adds to the overall convenience of the product.

The electrical backplane anchor bolts have also been changed from stud welds to independent fasteners to simplify the manufacture process. The product now comes with a drop pin kit for clients who require an anchor system during operation. Additionally, the finish of the product has been improved with a powder-coated finish and 304 stainless steel replacing 316 bare plate, making it more aesthetically pleasing and easier to clean.

Finally, Caddy Pro has been enhanced with the introduction of 25mm vent holes to improve air flow through the cabinet and a fuse to protect the charger from damage in case the operator tries to run the product while charging is in progress. The idler pulley has also been moved forward to allow adjustment from standard height rollers to under-bench rollers, with a height adjustable range of 250mm to 725mm.
