Hi, I thought you might like some feedback on your pool covers! Our 400 micron Daisy is 7 years old and was going pretty strong – I honestly think it had one or maybe 2 years still left in it – that was until is was shredded in a very bad hail storm recently. The hail was larger than golf ball size and many rooves in our area were smashed so we are not surprised it was damaged. It was always kept on the pool unless we were swimming and it’s on a roller that is covered from the sun. Yes it was getting a bit brittle but in general for 7 years we have to say it was an awesome quality cover. Thanks Daisy! Let’s hope the new generation of pool covers are even better. Cheers
Michelle
Committed to Quality
Daisy Pool Covers only offer energy and water efficient products so our
customers can enjoy their pools for longer.
At Daisy, we use a 3D point-capturing device to measure pool shells in the manufacturer’s yard, enabling us to robotically cut our pool covers to match the pool shell's exact shape. These covers come complete with radius corners so they can be cut to fit the waterline or installed oversized with an upturn.
Our pre-cut pool cover data is collected from new pool shells to ensure shape accuracy. Variations in cover fit can occur from the pool installation due to the pool base screening and backfilling affecting the top profile of the pool, or if the manufacturer alters the mould. This can result in a slightly different cover fit, perhaps even showing water or uneven upturn in some areas. There is nothing wrong with the pool installation or the cover fit, and this doesn't affect the cover's functionality.
Our standard upturn cut leaves a 20mm upturn, with the option of a waterline cut.

Rollers are typically supplied to suit the main body of the pool (A only) to have the step area either folded over or as a separate piece, however, you can order the roller to suit the main body plus the step area (A + A1) so the pool cover and step area is recovered ‘flat’ onto the roller.
If the step area is to be folded on the cover for recovery, it is recommended to have the roller at the non-step area end so the folded section recovery is as small as possible.
Folding a step area at the start of the pool cover recovery is not recommended as the cover becomes thicker on the fold side that will make the roll uneven.
Folding large step areas is not recommended.
Note: Some roller models cant have step areas folded over, contact Daisy for tricky installations.
