The Daisy Sales Process – New Sales Tool

We have recently developed a handy cheat sheet to remind you to use opening questions with customers, in conjunction with last month’s “Selling Ideas and Techniques”. This document will help by giving you some examples of questions to use to get the conversation around pool covers and rollers started.

What is your Cover to Roller Ratio?

Daisy is available to have a confidential conversation about what your cover to roller ratio is in your store sales. We can let you know if you are ahead of the industry or if there is an opportunity for us to work with you to sell more rollers, over covers and refit kits.

When we look at your sales data we can show you if there is any opportunity for more pool roller sales or more refit kit and over cover sales. Continuing on from the Daisy Sales Process document, this is to not only make sure you are maximising every opportunity but to also ensure your customer is getting everything they need for a great pool cover buying experience.

Imagine how hard it is to get a pool cover off the pool without a roller? Believe it or not, there are plenty of retailers or staff that decide a roller may be too expensive or not worth it so they don’t offer a roller solution to the customer, they only sell the pool cover. Now, the customer may end up unhappy with their purchase because they were not even offered a solution to make using their new pool cover easy.

A pool cover is what we want, a pool cover roller is what we need. The same goes for those who have an existing roller; putting a new pool cover onto a pool roller without a refit kit is pretty difficult, especially when a new refit kit is available for only $27.20.

While you are talking to the pool owner about their existing pool roller, have a look at their over cover. Hold it up to the light, and if you can see anything through it, especially where the fold is, they will need a new over cover to protect the pool cover from the sun. An over cover will normally last up to two pool covers, so it’s always good to ask the pool owner when they bought their last over cover.

Using the old adage of “Do yo want fries with that?” means you are not only making more sales, but you are looking after your customers.

Daisy Pool Covers are kicking off our Summer 2020 Campaign: Summer Pay Back.

Summer Pay Back launched in 2019 with great success for our customers, and we awarded six winners over the spring/summer period who received the cost of their pool cover back!

This campaign is an eye-catching, easy to implement way to drive consumers, and ultimately sales, to your stores during the spring/summer period.

The mechanics of this promotion are as follows:
